Industrial

Even small explosions or fires in industrial settings can cause substantial financial loss. While determining what happened in any loss can be challenging, industrial fire losses often call for investigative expertise with experience in industrial settings.

Our engineers and fire investigators are certified fire and explosion investigators (CFEI) by the National Association of Fire Investigators (NAFI) and have investigated many fires in industrial facilities such as manufacturing and assembly plants, food processing facilities, energy plants, chemical process facilities and finishing systems. Our experience with industrial equipment, processes, controls and fire protection systems greatly aids in determining the origin and cause of the incident. Additionally, we analyze the factors responsible for the spread of the fire and for the extent of the loss, including fire protection adequacy, building construction sufficiency, and compliance with codes and standards.

Our engineers are frequently called to serve as expert witnesses. Known for their ability to accurately and concisely explain losses or injuries, they communicate in an easy to understand manner whether speaking to insurance adjusters, attorneys or juries.
