Bicycle

Bicyclists are vulnerable road users often subject to serious injury.  Bicycle-related incidents demand an extensive forensic investigation. In fact, many incidents involve a complex combination of factors including machine mechanics, human factors, manufacturing, maintenance, and often include interaction with automobiles.

Our collision reconstructionist and human factors consultant investigate bicycle-related incidents including collisions with vehicles, other cyclists and roadway hazards.  Maintenance, safety, as well as bicycle design, components and manufacturing are considerations in addition to the behavior and perceptual capabilities of the rider.  Through reconstruction and forensic analysis we establish how and why a collision occurred.

In bicycle related incidents, we offer extensive experience in investigation and reconstruction that help us determine not only exactly what happened and why, but whether human factors, maintenance, design or manufacturing errors contributed.
