Welding and Hot Work
Welding and Hot Work
Welding, soldering and other hot work operations can create inherent fire risks, but can also be safely accomplished when done properly. Investigators familiar with the safe rules and requirements for this type of work best accomplish fire investigations that involve hot work operations.
Our NAFI-certified fire and explosion investigators (CFEI) are experienced investigators of hot work fires including welding, soldering, brazing, grinding, torch cutting and flame treating. Our experience includes investigation of hot work fires in residential, commercial and industrial settings.
Our engineers and fire investigators, perform investigations in accordance with the latest edition of NFPA 921, and are frequently called to serve as expert witnesses. They are known for their ability to accurately and concisely explain the causes of and spread of fires and communicate in an easy to understand manner whether speaking to insurance adjusters, attorneys or juries.
