Vehicle and Mobile Equipment
Fires in vehicles and mobile equipment can be traced to many different sources — design, maintenance, faulty equipment, electrical issues, repairs and even arson. Getting to the bottom of what happened and why in a vehicle fire involves investigative skills, education and experience.
Our Certified Fire and Explosion Investigators (CFEI) and Certified Vehicle Fire Investigators (CVFI) by the National Association of Fire Investigators (NAFI) have investigated fires in many different types of vehicles and mobile equipment including forest equipment, construction equipment, cranes and other lifting equipment, recreational vehicles, and automobiles. All fire investigators conduct investigations in accordance with the latest edition of NFPA 921 and bring a rigorous approach to investigating the many factors of vehicle and mobile equipment fires.
In addition to being nationally certified, our investigators are known for bringing a high degree of expertise and experience to investigations, reports and courtroom appearances. In fact, our engineers are frequently called to serve as expert witnesses because of their ability to accurately and concisely explain the facts of an incident to an insurance adjuster, attorney, or jury in an uncomplicated, easy-to-understand manner.
