Fire Protection Systems

Fire detection, suppression and emergency life support systems are critical components of ships, boats and other vessels. To prevent extensive damage, protect lives and ensure safety, these systems must be properly designed, installed, inspected and maintained in a manner to be both effective and not pose a risk themselves by oxygen depletion or any other loss of a breathable air supply.

Our licensed fire protection engineer and fire investigators are experienced in the evaluation of design, installation, inspection, maintenance and use of fire detection, suppression and emergency life support systems including fire hose, fire sprinkler, heat and smoke detection, and emergency air systems. Their background and experience in fire protection systems includes knowledge of past and present fire codes as well as fire extinguishing and alarm system standards.

Our investigators are certified fire and explosion investigators (CFEI) by the National Association of Fire Investigators (NAFI) and often serve as expert witnesses. They are well known to communicate in an easy-to-understand manner whether speaking to an insurance adjuster, attorney or jury.
